Legal information
Terms of Use and Rental Conditions
Effective January 1, 2025
1. Website use
The Vault & Chair website provides catalog information and a way to begin a rental conversation. Catalog displays are not a promise of availability, a final quote, or a binding reservation.
2. Proposals and reservations
A rental becomes confirmed only when both parties approve a written proposal or agreement and any required deposit or payment is received. Dates, quantities, pricing, delivery, and collection details are those stated in the confirmed agreement.
3. Client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate event details, safe access, suitable placement surfaces, and a responsible contact. Furniture must be used indoors or in agreed conditions, kept away from open flame and unauthorized modifications, and returned in the condition supplied except for ordinary wear.
4. Delivery and collection
Timing depends on venue access, route conditions, staffing, and the agreed service level. Delays or access restrictions should be reported promptly. Setup and breakdown are included only when expressly listed in the agreement.
5. Changes and cancellation
Requests to change date, quantity, or venue are subject to availability and may change pricing. Cancellation charges, deposits, and refund rules are defined in the applicable written proposal.
6. Damage and loss
The client is responsible for loss, theft, misuse, or damage beyond ordinary wear during the rental period. Assessment and reasonable repair or replacement charges follow the confirmed agreement and applicable law.
7. Liability and changes
Vault & Chair will provide services with reasonable care but cannot guarantee uninterrupted website access or availability of a particular item. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited. We may update these terms and will publish the revised effective date.
8. Contact
For questions about a proposal or these terms, contact the Vault & Chair studio.
